Dreams and Responsibilities: The Chinese-English Version of Obama's Back-to-School Speech

Dear teachers, parents, and students,

Good day! It is my great honor to be here today and share with you some thoughts about dreams and responsibilities. No matter if you're a new face stepping into the campus or an old friend walking on this road of learning for years, I believe everyone has their own dream in their heart.

First, let's talk about dreams. What is a dream? It is our deepest longing in our hearts, our beautiful expectations for the future life. Everyone has his or her own dream, it may be to become a doctor, scientist, teacher, or just to make oneself and family live better. But no matter what your dream is, it is the driving force that pushes us forward.

However, having dreams alone is not enough. We also need responsibility. Responsibility means we must be responsible for our actions, our choices, and our future. When we decide to pursue a certain goal, we must realize that it is not just a personal matter, but also relates to the people around us and the overall interests of society.
